Through our teaching experience, we realized the true need of a supplementary book that is less than a text book and certainly more than a guide.
The book in your hands (PHYNAL) presents a wide common space of interaction between the teacher and the student by introducing a detailed course with all the derivations and everyday life examples which are rich in deep physical concepts away from sophisticated mathematics, which is a vital objective of the new curriculum.
Furthermore PHYNAL presents a conceptual challenge through a series of conceptual questions covering the main ideas of each chapter. As a guide, PHYNAL offers more than 300 solved problems and samples of official exams. Some of the problems are well known by teachers, but vital for the students to comprehend the content and achieve a high score in the official exams, the guide also includes a lot of original and new problems that both students and teachers will enjoy.
This project wouldn’t have been achieved without the help of our close colleague Mr. Mike Tomlinson, the great educator and hardworking physicist, for his contribution with a lot of new and original problems, so we express our deepest gratitude for his effort in this book and his outstanding support.
